I really want to stay in Texas. I have been accepted to these two universities as well as Florida Coastal. I am waiting to hear from UT, UH, and Baylor. Any opinions on Tech and South Texas College of Law? Thanks.

Why do you want to waste 3 years and thousands of dollars you clearly don't have? You could get a sheet of printer paper, make up an equally stupid sounding law school and print your own degree. It will be worth just about as much to you as one from those TTT's

Yeah..I second that..you are a moron. Just to let you know, I have been waitlisted at UT and UH...maybe those two universities will better suit your standards as to what constitutes a good law school...either way, your response and attitude is pathetic.

I was just wondering if anyone who got accepted to either UT or UH decided not to attend. I am on both waiting lists, but I feel my chances are slim of getting off the list. I do not know of many people who would give up a seat at either school, especially in-staters. Anyhow...let me know..thanks:)

Hey everyone. Well I have been placed on both the UT and UH waitlist for the fall entering class. I sent out a letter of continued interest to both schools last week in hopes of helping my chances of getting offered a seat. Does anyone know how soon or how late I am likely to find out whether or not I will be offered a seat? I am currently pursuing my seat at TX Tech in case I don't get admitted to UH or UT, but I just wanted to send this out there in case anyone may have any information to share regarding wait lists. Feel free to comment. Thanks!

I was accepted to STCL but I did not send in my seat deposit. I am currently accepted at TX Tech, and I am on both UH and UT's waitlist.

hey i got accepted into South Texas too, but I decided not to attend. I have also been accepted to Tech and Florida Coastal, and I am trying to get off the waitlist at either UH or UT. I didnt attend their orientation day either, but I know that the school is private and costs about 20,000 more than any other public law school in Texas. They are not ranked very well. The school is located in the heart of downtown, which is slowly starting to build up a good district. I personally do not like the downtown region of Houston. Houston itself is an okay city to be at, but the law school is just sort of thrown downtown in the midst of banks, corporations, and the Toyota Center and Minute Maid Park. You may want to give STCL a try though, I hear they rank very well amongst the Houston and Coastal Bend area.
