Studying for the LSAT / What to study after SuperPrep?
« on: July 29, 2008, 11:19:44 PM »
I just got done with the SuperPrep, I got a 168, 169, 168 on the tests. My main problems were with the LG sections (consistently getting around five wrong, not finishing on time, had some trouble setting up the problems). Followed by the LR section, though nowhere near as bad as LG. These tests are a bit old though and I've heard that the LG section has gotten easier since then. I was eyeing the newest 10 actual LSAT tests book but what about the bibles?

Law School Admissions / Loyola University Chicago or UIUC?????
« on: March 26, 2007, 07:16:32 PM »
I am stuck between two options of UIUC and Loyola. I know that based on rankings Loyola isn't even in the same league as UIUC. But I'm getting a merit scholarship at Loyola that will make it almost $12,000 cheaper than Illinois each year (Once total costs are figured out). Plus, it's really close to my home and I've realized that Law Schools (for the most part) don't seem to really care where you go for your bachelor's as long as it is respectable and you manage a high GPA/LSAT. Also, I visited UIUC and really didn't like the atmosphere or the town at all.

As far as their respective Law Schools. UIUC's is almost top 25 now but my research shows that, here in Chicago (where I want to work), law firms hire MANY students from Loyola. Honestly, though, my plan right now is to go to Loyola for undergrad and then go to UIUC for law. What do you guys think?
