Congrats. I'd like to go there.. we'll see I need to get off the waitlist first. Lake-effect snow isn't too bad though. Don't get me wrong, WNY winters are cold, long and harsh but it's all relative really. You'll get used to it... maybe. :)

If you like the outdoors, you'll love WNY. Much of south and southeast of buffalo is beautiful. Letchworth, finger lakes, Watkins Glen, etc.

For a long time I was supportive of Israel and thought they were the ones being wronged....

Have a look at this website with an open mind. My might change the way you think.

*on a note though, most of the US aid going to Palestine is funnelled through the UN and other organizations so it doesn't show up as directly from the US on these stat on this webpage.

um... Bringing Down the House... my Mertzek or somebody like that. Wasn't necessarily the writing, but the story of MIT students fleecing Vegas... gotta love that.

I just wrote a similar thread, and this one has more on it already so I'll write here too.

I just got my waitlist notice as well.

Stats: 151 LSAT, and 3.28 GPA, graduating institution GPA 3.88

I wrote the essay where you had to tell a story.

I'd be so stoked to get in but I can't wait until the very end with moving back from japan and my wife finding a job. That being said, we have an emergency fund that could float us about 6-10 months if necessary.

Does anyone know odds of getting off the waitlist? they told me they wouldn't know anything until about the beginning of May.

Maybe it's just me but I think half this thread is now "tags." I'm one of them so I'm not knocking it, but it's kinda funny.

Someone mentioned a ROTC program for Air Force and Army... do all schools have this? Do they need to have one to be part of a ROTC program? I'm probably going to school in a military heavy area (Hampton Roads, VA)
