Law School Applications / Re: Objective Ranking criteria for WUSTL

That's all the validity I need.  A prospective student is upset by my criteria, likely because s/he realized WUSTL is an overpriced toilet in a toilet city.

Other objective criteria for other schools to follow...

Law School Applications / Objective Ranking criteria for WUSTL

I'll be honest, I haven't been to St. Louis in awhile, but it is a hell hole.  It's top law school is trash.  The following are reasons why.  This account is entirely objective because I love Busch Light, and by association am a fan of this horrible city.

1. When staying at the Mellinium Hotel I went to the Mariott for lunch.  Not only was it overpriced, but it was the worst Mariott buffet lunch I've eaten in my entire life.
2. They gave the Cardinals a new stadium.
3. It rained too much there in 1993.
4. WUSTL is extremely over-priced.
5. WUSTL feeds over-saturated markets.
6. WUSTL has ugly buildings.
7. The crime, oh, the crime.
8. The Rams suck.
9. Missouri sucks.
10. Attendees are washed up T14 rejects.

I just went to my first incoming students events this past weekend and I can say that people were very honest about the amount of facebook stalking of other students they had been doing.  But it does seem useful for finding roommates keeping in touch with the people you meet at these events, etc.  I say that as long as you don't have anything stupid up these I wouldn't worry.

Facebook is a terrible idea.  People do stupid and mean things with the internet.  Look at our wonderful little LSD community, it abounds with trolls, flamers, and pranksters that will do anything for a joke.  XOXO is even worse, it doesn't matter if your settings are as high as they can get, these people can still flame you on the internet and facebook just gives them more fuel to add to the fire.  Don't risk it.  Get people's numbers, call them, be professional.

Wash U

You give all of these schools mention?

Picture a fine cigar, hand wrapped, with a delicate blend of fine tobacco.  You smoke it, it's enjoyable, maybe you cough because you're an amateur or you remember those black and mild/swisha days of high school when you had something else inside, but whatever.  When it's done, you have a mashed end with wet with saliva on one end and burned resin on the other.  This is what happens at many of the above schools you mentioned.  They take a fine cigar (thousands and thousands of your trustfund) and turn it into black resin streaks on the bottom of an ashtray.

At least you can flush a toilet and the mess will go away... with these schools the residue of waste will linger in perpetuity.
