People have their reasons. I work in biglaw because:
1. The hours are not 80-100 per week. I average around 55 a week.
2. The money is good, obviously.
3. It's a credential. Working at a well-known firm can lead to jobs that wouldn't otherwise be available.
Some people are also interested in areas of law that are only available in biglaw (or high-level govt. or botigues, both of which often require biglaw experience).
You guys should definetly look at the Valencia. They're nice condos that goes for 700-800 a month depending o how many people you room with. Its about a 2 minute drive or 15-20 minute walk to the school. Compared to university village or any other apartments in the area for the price they are nice as hell.
I lived in Valencia for 2 years - stay away at all costs. Terrible management, overpriced, lots of crime (both in and around the building), and the building, although new, is very poorly constructed. The only redeeming quality is its proximity to campus. You can find much better for a lot less money.
My vote is for Miami since I'll likely be going there in the Fall. (And yes, I'm SUPER HOT!)
seriously, at least pose a decent question when you're not drunk. You don't distinguish between ugrad or anything else, so which should apply? This is a good topic (for many other schools as well), but you cheapen the question you bastard!
