Sorry, this might be a stupid question but I was just wondering does anyone have any idea about how many people get waitlisted?  Obviously bigger schools probably waitlist more but on average is it 100, 200, 50...?  Once again this might be an impossible question to answer but I was just wondering just how many people I was up against haha!

PS. I'm waitlisted at Chapman and Southwestern.

I've been waitlisted at a couple schools and have already sent in two LOCI's.  I know most people say that you should sent one in every 3-4 weeks or if there are any significant changes in your application/resume, etc.  Is there such a thing as sending too many LOCI's...I mean obviously I'm sure they wouldn't appreciate one every other day or so but should the number be capped around 3 or something?  Thanks for your help!

So somehow with a 3.7 GPA and a 159 LSAT I got waitlisted at both Cal Western and Chapman.  I applied pretty late so I'm thinking that was why...but anyways has anyone on either of those waitlists heard anything yet?  I'm wondering how long it will take before there is any movement at all.  Thanks!

Choosing the Right Law School / Florida Coastal?
« on: May 23, 2007, 06:42:50 PM »
I received an email today saying that my lsat score and gpa qualify me for admission to the fall '07 class along with a $10,000 scholarship.  Funny thing is I didn't even apply there or express any interest in attending.  However, I'm on waiting lists and still waiting to hear from a couple other schools so I'm now considering Florida.  I live in California and all of the other schools I applied to are in Cali.  I know nothing about Florida Coastal.  Any help that you can provide would be greatly appreciated!  I've never seen the school or been in the area so if anyone has any info on that too I'd appreciate it!  Thanks!

Choosing the Right Law School / Please help me with my letter!!

Ok, so I am still waiting to hear back from my top two choices: Southwestern and Chapman.  I recently took tours of both campuses and the status of my applications was that they are still in review.  I was thinking that I would send a letter of continued interest (or something similar) basically stating that each school was my top choice, I recently visited, and am ready to send in money, etc.  Is this a good idea?  Could it help?  If so, any suggestions on what exactly I should say.  I really want to get into at least one of these schools so pleaseee help me!  Thanks so much guys :)
