Allright, You are the prosecutor and the defense att. asks his witness a question whicdh in your opinion is hearsay....you objecy stating all the proper legal basis for its inadmissablitiy. The trial judge overrules your objection stating the legal basis for it to be allowed....what, as the prosecutor, do you do next?

It is a great school will a great reputation already. Justice Thomas was our commencement speaker last year. There are numerous judges who are reserving spots for law clerks speciafically for Ave students. Check out the % of students or go on to federal clerkships. The faculty is also very aware of the whole "Tier" system so they want to see us do well so the school is ranked high when it debuts in the rankings.

I am a student at ave maria. You will love the school. People think it is all up tight but it is not that way at all. Yes, they do have a catholic theme but nothing is forced on you. For example,one of my profs. had to schedule a double session of class because he missed a class since he was out of town. For the second session he bought us pizza and we brought the beer. So there we were in the "ultra-conservative" law school eating pizza and drinking beer in class. It is a great school and the profs. really care about you. Also, our two bar passages were 93% and 100%. Tops in the state (ahead of Umich).

So because you read it in a magazine it MUST be true and a professor who is going to teach there MUST be lying or I, with no motive what-so-ever, MUST be making it up. Please tell me that when you vote you don't just pick up the USNEWS and vote for whomever is on the cover that day!

Ave Maria has a very religous core but none of that is forced on the students. It is offered up for students to experience if they choose. The goal mainly is to create an environment where morals are not an after thought. One of the professors there had a great analogy when he discussed his pending two year teaching stint at Yale. He said "I am going from a school where students pray with one another to a school where students prey on one another."

What is the national perspective on Ave Maria? I live in Michigan and it has an excellent reputation and in the press people are talking about it rivaling Michigan in about 5-10 years. It already beats UofM in bar passage and clerkships. Do non-Michiganders view it as a school on the rise or, since maybe you haven't heard much about it, dismiss it as a TTT? As you can see I am attending there and was just blown away when I visited and talked to faculty and students. I am just curious about a more neutral opinion. Thanks in advance.
