Hey this is Mrs. Botbot

Today UTexas threw me a curve ball by offering a scholarship.  Total cost of UT is now less than $36,000.  Total cost of Tulane is about $50,000...

I am still 99% at Tulane next year, but I really wish I didn't open that stupid envelope.

UT trolls, convince me of its greatness!

Anyone else have this happen?

About a week after sending out my apps, I became very frightened (and irrational), thinking I would not get in anywhere!  I sent out three more apps and am now going to a school I had not even considered at the beginning of the cycle.  Anyone else?

Every school seems to think they are on the up-and-up...are there any schools in the T100 that have been consistently losing ground?  Or is it all a game of small variance?

Tulane University (LA)    $135,000

I don't understand how Tulane was allowed to use 24% reporting, but who am I to complain, I have BIGLAW in the bag!  ;)

How stupid am I to choose Tulane over UT?

Cost will sadly be the same (Tulane denied my request for more scholarship dollars)

I have no clue what kind of law I want to practice but I want to live in Texas post-grad.

I love New Orleans and the Tulane facilities.

Tell me how stupid I would be to pick Tulane.

My quick web research shows that about 60% of students have a 3.0 or better, but I am looking for some hard figures.

Does anyone know what curve Tulane employs? 25%, 50%, 75% graduating gpa?
