I'm assigned to Professor Warren's mock class.  Anyone else?

I won't be attending though.  I'll only be at HLS for the Sunday schedule of events.  ASW's coincide with final papers, so my time is very limited.

I got Warren, too.  From dashrashi's description I'm feeling both intimidated :o and excited ;D.

Thanks Sabioderecho and BlueHeaven.  I gather that Harvard doesn't offer the option of staying with current students.  Am I correct?

Nope. They don't guarantee it, but my friend stayed with a current student. I find that those things always go dreadfully wrong, so I went hotel.

Do you know if your friend coordinated with the admissions office or did he/she just happen to know someone?

It was through the admissions office. Have you called them?

Ended up getting and then responding to the e-mail about students willing to house prospectives.  I was assigned someone within two days.  Not bad.

Law School Applications / Re: Yale E-mail

So, I'm curious.  Did anyone get a prank call yesterday, April Fools Day.  I just think there has to be someone who's friends would call maybe even from the right area code. "hello, this is Yale...you're in...not!!!"

I requested the accommodations info but haven't received it, yet. Looked a little bit online already with little success.  Anyone know of a good cheap (and I mean cheap) place to stay within walking distance?

It's certainly fed into my neurosis. :P

I know this may be covered somewher earlier in this thread, but what are the criteria for this fellowship?

Does the letter indicate anything other than academic merit? Say leadership experience or public service? Anyone willing to post the wording? I ask because LSN shows only two people w/indices at 4.9 and neither list scholarship $$ from Columbia. Of course they might have just chosen not to post this info, but many with indices at 4.8 and 4.7 also don't show it.

Thoughts?

I think my question may have been quickly buried under the debate.  Anyone willing to shed some light?

There were no specific qualifications mentioned in the letter.  I think it may have mentioned something about potential for a remarkable career in law or something like that, but I don't remember (I'm back home and don't have the letter with me, so I can't double check).  But I do remember that there were no specific criteria mentioned.

Thanks, Denny.
