Went to Decision today on the status checker, went complete on 1/5/07.

Is this a good or bad sign?

Ok, from the last 5 pages, I synthesized that 2/09 decisions are all rejects?

I was 2/10 but yeah, it seems like a pretty sucky decision batch.

Sorry Bohemian!  Looks like the adcom at Michigan isn't as awesome as I thought they were.

Thanks...I still have great options, so I'm not worrying. I'm sad that I'll have to miss out on the famous Mich niceness.

Mine was 2/08 decision.... are we in the same sinking boat?

Studying for the LSAT / Re: Howard?
« on: February 12, 2007, 07:34:01 AM »
I'm a white (European) foreign student, and I applied to Howard..
Actually, I don't mind if the student body is more African-American or White or whatever it is... the important thing is the the law school must be good.. (and I think it is.... ;))

I'd really appreciate any comment regarding my status as "white applicant" and any consideration about the school, prospective job opportunities, salary, etc...

thanks! ;D

You'll be fine, there are a number of white students at Howard Law as well as a number of Asian and Indian students. You'll probably get more consideration in admissions because of the diversity you offer the school. If you want a biglaw job, graduate in the top 10 percent of the class. Salarly if you get a biglaw job is 145k-160k starting. If you graduate outside the top 10% your opportunities become much more limited. I don't think employers will hold it against you for going to a HBCU, but you might want to talk to some white students at HUSL for more info.

thanks!
so....is there a white HULS student around? ;D
