Thanks for the advice Jon..appreciated! I am looking into a masters as well..just throwing around some ideas.  I also was looking at Homeland Security degrees since my specialty is homeland and couter-terrorism.  It' s just so hard with my crazy schedule to get to class. I was looking at Capella, Amercian Military U, and Wilmington U which is brick and mortor but also offers online.

I'd like to teach criminal justice since I am a seasoned federal agent with many years in federal law enforcement.  I figured a master's of higher since that is what most schools are looking for.  I have taught as far a training federal law enforcement, just not in a college setting

Thanks everyone..I am a federal agent and want to teach criminal justice courses if that helps any.  Concord is regionally accredited which is what most schools want.  Either a masters or higher in a certain degree is what the schools I am looking into want so I can teach undergrad criminal justice.  Hope that clarifies..

I am looking into Concord since it is regionally and nationally accredited.  Since that is all I need to get a teaching job, is it a good choice?  Is the E/JD Criminal Justice Track considered a doctorate for professor position standards or must I go for the extra year and get JD?

I am interested in attending Concord for several reasons to include time and money.  My ultimate goal is to teach college courses and I see that Concord has an EJD as well.  Are either the  JD or EJD acceptable?  Concord is DETC and since it's part of Kaplan, I understand it is regionally accredited as well from what I understand.  Most schools require a regionally accreditied terminal degree such as a Phd or Doctorate.     Any information is appreciated.

Can anyone give some insight on Rutgers Law School.  My options are limited and Rutgers Newark part time program seems like my best decision.  How is the part time program as compared to the full time considering time at school, studying, etc.?

Yes I have considered part time at Rutgers Newark.  The cost is twice as much and I am not sure if I'd be able to swing it with my current career and time constraints.  I believe part time at Newark, maybe most part time law schools, requires 4 nights a week.  Any advice??

Where should I go next fall? / Online Law School

Law school has been a lifetime goal and dream of mine.  I am currently a career federal law enforcement officer and have two small children.  Would and online law school like Concord or William Howard Taft University School of Law be an intelligent option for me(cost/time, etc.)?  I plan to stay within the Department of Justice and become a lawyer.  Entry level requirements state that your law school does not have to be ABA and be the member of the bar in any jurisdiction which would work for me since I am in NJ.  Any thoughts??
