Pre-Law in high school / Re: How Grades Are Converted

With the numbers you used, you would be at a disadvantage.  However, assume you and the person from CC get a 88 and a 95.  In that case, the other person would be disadvantaged.  Every plus they get would hurt them, whereas every negative would hurt you in compared to them.

I got a postcard today saying I won a Range Rover or Porsche but I only have till 5:00 on the 26th to claim it or its going to be released to the next lucky winner.

You did win; however, I will need you to send in the $150 entry fee to my pay pal account!  Congratulations!!

Hey everyone,

I know Molaw already started a thread for students going to MSU, but since it was entitled Fall 2007, it probably isn't getting as much traffic.  Anyone else going to MSU?  Any thoughts from current students?

Michigan, but my only job is teaching political science at a University as a grad student.  I have to sound more intelligent at "work".

What I don't get is why citizens need semi-automatic hand guns.  I think a rifle that needs to be reloaded would suffice for most hunting needs.  Furthermore, the argument that you need it for protection because the worst criminals will get them seems a bit absurd to me.  My guess is that more "non-worst criminal types" kill a much larger percentage than the worst-criminal types.  Oh but wait that is right guns don't kill people, people kill people (BS!!)

Of course not, but drug users are definitely associated with Bevis and Butthead!  Just a little contrapositive fun.

Look, I know you are now just asking random questions so we don't think you are a drug user, but I already have you pegged.  Nice try nonetheless.
