the first year is going great! I really enjoy my classes (torts, civ pro, and LP) All of them have interesting senses of humor. I have been called on 5 times in civ pro and torts! Some people never get called on, but my card must have something special on it because the profs love to pull it! Thanks to all of you for your advice.
did you talk during the orientation with the student panel?

do any of you currents students ever go to hockey games? If so, how expensive are tickets? I was hoping to be able to go to a few games with my girlfriend who is not a student.
On another note, who all is doing the summer prep course starting tomorrow?

Thanks! I think I am going to switch down to part time b/c I want to start a little slower. But I wanted to see a couple more sample schedules for both day and evening. I am assuming that evening division is only one schedule. Everyone is together in every class?? I'm not sure...
I am in the evening division, and here is my schedule:
Mondays: Lawyering Process 6-7:15; Torts 7:30-8:40
Tuesdays: Civil Procedure 5:40-7:20
Wednesdays: Same as Mondays
Thursdays: Civil Procedure 5:40-7:20; Torts 7:30-8:40
Fridays: no class
I am pretty sure that the evening division is all one section with the same classes, except for Lawyering Process which I think is divided into smaller classes.
Hope this helps

I have been on the light rail about 4 times now and never had my ticket checked. Does anyone ever check?

Has anyone gone to get the RTD sticker for the ID card yet? I got my ID last week, and was hoping to get my RTD pass soon so I do not have to keep paying for the light rail.

I am in the evening division, so my classes are Monday-Thursday evenings. Here is some more info on the times of my classes.
Lawyering Process I, Timothy Hurley; 6-7:15pm Monday, Wednesday
Torts, Arthur Best, 7:30-8:40; Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
Civil Procedure, Robert Hardaway; 5:40-7:20, Tuesday, Thursday
I assume day classes are Monday-Friday, but I could be wrong about that. I am sure Matthis would know for sure.
This schedule seems very manageable, I plan to study like it's a full-time job and go to class in the evenings. Hopefully I can get some free time on the weekends that way.

It is nice to hear all the positive comments about the evening division, I am very excited to start. I finally got my living situation figured out, and will be moving in about 3 weeks. I am living south of the city, and will ride the light rail to class.
Are there specific grades that an evening division student must have to register for more credits to get through in 3 years? I know one of you said that you just speak with the dean, but will the dean ever deny the request?

Wow...that does sound like a once in a lifetime case. Congrats on getting yourself in on that!! I am sure that you are getting some amazing experience.
Good to know about the part-time, seems like after 1L there is really not that much of a difference between the 2 divisions.
Thanks for the info, and good luck with the case you are working on.
