Choosing the Right Law School / 22 and going to Law School. Am I too young?
« on: February 07, 2007, 08:36:25 PM »
It seems to me that alot of people on this board are older. I am going to be heading straight into law school from college. I was just wondering what I can expect in terms of the ages of my fellow classmates. I'll probably wind up at a school that only has full time students, so I know it will be a younger crowd, but I'm still a little concerned I'll be feeling my youth. Thoughts?

Choosing the Right Law School / Cornell vs. BC in Boston
« on: February 05, 2007, 03:11:18 PM »
I'm deciding more and more that I want to practice law in boston rather than NYC. Cost of living and the fact I'm from Boston and hate the Yankees. But I was just wondering how the two schools stack up against one another. BC seems really up and coming and the second best law school in Boston whereas Cornell has the prestige of being an ivy and alot of credibility. Thanks!

I've gotten into all three. Just based on big firm numbers and how much money I can make, where should I go??

Just found out that I've gotten into all three law schools. They all have alot of different things to offer. I know Washington and Lee has a great judicial clerkship program while George Washington has a great political rep and BU has great firm connections.

I myself am hoping to work in a big firm but am unsure as to what field to practice yet. Possibly Real Estate or Corp. Law. What do you guys think? I basically want the best out of the three and am currently leaning on George Washington since it seems to have the best rep.
