Thanks for this post.

What makes you think this is the real deal?

HEY!!  :)

Several trustworthy LSDers saw the rankings online (they paid for them).  Also, some people have seen the physical proof at bookstores.

HOORAY!!!!!! THANKS MCB AS ALWAYS. :)

(lets k.i.t through facebook ;))

Is there a restriction on how many hours you can work as a -part-time- law student?

I agree.  I think he was trying to relate to us having to choose a school (remember how he said that a prospective student said he'd attend if he got $2k scholarship and then went on to say how he gave up money to be at Fordham) but he either did not think it out before speaking or messed something up because it sounded a bit off.  And the whole "withdraw now because people on our waitlist are more qualified than you are" was really weird too.  I mean, the deposit deadline is in three weeks.  You'll find out soon enough ::)

I liked the other dean who spoke before the student panel more.

Yeah! He's actually the dean of the entire law school, I believe. The guy on every single Fordham Law promotional. Seemed very cool.

In retrospect the Fordham ASW was terribly boring. If it wasn't for the company I was with I would've left after that mock class.

So are you guys leaning towards Fordham?

Refused Party Program- Emory sounds like a good bet for you (didn't realize they're giving you a lot of money). Good luck!

My only regret is that I didn't meet more of you guys.  :) Orangie, tl, miss celies blues and I were sitting in the middle of the auditorium during the mock class (again, very cool ppl).

I left Fordham thinking, "If I work hard here then I can't go wrong." And I agree with some of the posts here- that mock class was terrible. Some of the answers/questions were terrible.

For you guys interested in Fordham, there are a lot of good-looking women here. I definitely noticed.  :)

Met up with a few LSDers. Great people to say the least.

The event was boring but I appreciate the effort that was put into it. I don't know if I agree with the lady who said "we have the best corporate law program, even on par with Harvard's."

:)

Call to speak with Judith McNatt. She's the director of financial aid.

jmcnatt [at] law.fordham.edu

Your call should expedite things. Good luck with the grant money request. Fordham is awfully stingy with money.

Rest assured. The FA office took care of my financial aid relatively quickly. I already have an official award letter in my possession.
