Thanks for the announcement.

You are making me feel so much better about my impending rejection.

I feel great about my impending rejection too. How about a toast?

*raises glass*

are you at decision too?

I have been since the beginning of January. And you?

I didn't notice I had gone to decision right away, because I only check it once a week, but I've been at decision since at least January 12.

I thought I was all alone.

Kum ba ya.. kum ba ya..

I suppose it was an initiation of sorts. It wasn't as bad as Freshman Friday.

According to Dean Cornblatt's blog Georgetown has filled half of the seats for its incoming class.

Hey, no need to apologize, most of us are in the same boat: we're all eagerly awaiting acceptances, trying not to check our email every 5 seconds, and we could all use some psychic comfort. Some of us, like me, are asses, and like to inject a healthy, though completely unhelpful, dose of realism in with our advice. In the end, though, we're all just as unsure as you are. And to further answer the question you asked before, about why I'm on this board, it's a way for me to converse with those that are soon to be my peers. No matter what law school you will attend, there's almost certainly more than a handful of people that will be joining you, and even if there aren't, most of the people on this board have the same interest as you: law school. This is a great resource for fostering relationships if you're willing to utilize it that way. Good luck.

Thanks. You too.

This is the claim of admissions officers but do we have reason to believe it?
