Your mind has just been blown?  Imagine how Lindbergh is feeling about now.

What are you people even talking about?

Your SAT score predicts an LSAT score of around 175 (provided you prep well), so you should be good at most schools, except HYS, which have even higher GPA requirements.

However, you really have to take the exam before you really know.

So I just discovered the board and was wondering what are my chances of getting into a good law school. I'm at an East coast all girls college and currently have a 3.5. It would be a 3.65 but things got a little dicey for me last semester. Married men are off limits; lesson learned!

I haven't taken the LSAT yet but I scored a 1540 on my SATs, so I'm pretty good at standardized tests. (The old SAT, btw).

Oh, thanks so much! I can never get any good advice from these clowns.

Where should I go next fall? / Re: Conflict of Interest?

It's a top law school by most people's definitions, not T-14, but a good school.

But I have my heart set on somehwere else. I'm not planning on applying till next year, which is why it was no big deal to delay the LSAT.

Third, if her boyfriend is in fact an adcomm officer, it wouldn't be that big a stretch of the imagination that he would somehow slip in her file before it was complete.

Yeah, I'm thinking this is what he must have done.

The other part of the story is that my bf is kind of a control freak; he wants me to go to the law school he works for. I've kind of had my heart set on another top school, and I think he's worried I'll get in and dump him.

I don't know, I think this is just a move to control me? Then he'll have all this power over me the rest of my life if I go to his school  :-\

No wonder we have a reputation for being mean, judgmental, and unhelpful.

Yeah, really. I know this sounds like a weird problem to have but you guys could at least give me some advice.

Wow, so some semesters are more important to your GPA?

I know it seems farfetched  :-[

This is a joke... right?

No, I feel a little guilty about it though  :-\

I was supposed to take the February test but I had to delay it for personal hygeine reasons. I've signed up for June and one of the stipulations in my acceptance is that I take the LSAT and get at least a 154.

Doesn't this seem very strange? Do you think my boyfriend is playing a joke on me?

My boyfriend is an admissions officer at a top law school. I was accepted there even though I haven't taken the LSAT yet, do you think I got special treatment?

Which law school?

I don't know about law school, but I have a friend who is going to a lower tier med school and was guaranteed admission without having to take the MCAT. But in that situation, she had done an internship with them. Did you get it on merit, or simply because you have connections?

Well I have a good GPA and good recs. My boyfriend also read all my essays and really liked them. My practice scores are in the mid 160s; do you think that because of my natural aptitude they just decided to accept me?
