The HLS page claims it has to be IE or Netscape and that Firefox won't work (even in Windows, apparently).

Weird part is that I was able to get to the forms on my Mac using Firefox a few days ago but ended up not submitting because of their dire warnings that 'it WILL NOT transmit successfully.' Of course, when I try now it doesn't work at all.

IIRC June 1 was the deposit deadline. You probably won't get the finaid information before that date, as the site estimates two weeks' turnaround.

A summary of the admission and matriculation statistics has been compiled from the "Official Guide to ABA-Approved Law Schools, 2007 Edition" of the top 32 ABA-approved law school that Yalies apply.

What's with the way these people write? Is it simply prestigious enough that normal grammar doesn't apply? ;)

how often are people he calls about the waitlist not offered admission?

None so far. I'm guessing you're in, but I won't say something to jinx it.

The HLS admits from the WL seem to have disproportionately committed to Penn... weird.

General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / Re: HLS Class of 2010!!!

I had noticed that also, and the conflicting statements of 'all incoming students desiring HLS housing are guaranteed it' and 'While we cannot guarantee housing in HLS dorms for those admitted from the wait list'...

Not especially happy about it. They really should not have written that in the binder since it doesn't seem to be met by reality.

The only thing that makes this somewhat less crappy is that HAH is close to market rate and not an especially good deal. I really wanted a dorm, but if I can't get one I suppose I'll find a non-HAH apt.

Financial Aid / Re: Which to use for stafford sub/unsub and PLUS?

Access Group offers Stafford without origination fees, but for PLUS the 3% fee seems required.

It explicitly states

Technical Requirements: PC with Windows 2000 OS (or higher) & Internet Explorer 6.0/Netscape 7.2 (or higher) REQUIRED. MAC computers and other browsers like Mozilla Firefox and Safari ARE NOT SUPPORTED.

I attempted to use IE, ugh, on my Mac and it seemed to work OK, although I ended up not submitting.

Wow, I hope I won't have to search out someone who owns a PC just to do the form.

I got the binder today; the finaid site has a nasty little warning not to use a Mac or Safari or Firefox. Anyone try this?
