Please substantiate the above statement... they may 'look' at it at every school, but the relative weight of the types of courses and their perceived difficulty is incredibly insignificant next to your LSAT score and GPA. It would probably be considered *after* LSAT, GPA, LORs, resume, and UG reputation.

If you don't hear from them my guess would be that it's OK - I got an e-mail informing me that mine hadn't been filled out properly by the incompetent people at my school's office and needed to be re-sent.

The black MacBook is the worst value in the lineup, IMO. Go with the base level MacBook Pro - the 2.2GHz processor will still yield better performance than the black MacBook, 2GB RAM is standard, and the 160GB drive is only an additional $65 or so. If the 2.4GHz Pro is $400 more than the black MacBook as configured, the 2.2GHz Pro will likely be cheaper than the black MacBook and a much faster computer.

AFAIK (and backed by the HLS ITS page) Macs are supported. I don't think HLS uses exam software. I've already got my MacBook, so  :-\

The optimal outcome would be to find an HAH share that was sublet for the summer, but whose occupant is leaving a few days before Sept. 1. I almost found such a place but it didn't quite work out so my lease starts in July. [shrug]

I wouldn't wait too long, though, as I recall reading somewhere that *all* the HAH stuff was filled by the 8th or 9th window last year.

Also, Harvard 'guaranteed' housing in dorms, but then retracted that guarantee. Not the same, obviously, but still :P

There realistically should be a few more acceptances from the waitlist, but they will probably all be close to or above 3.9 GPAs.

Per the HAH site leases generally start around June 30th. Some of the CA listings start Sept. 1... obviously not ideal unless you have a place to crash for two days during orientation and can deal with moving in during the first week.

I ended up eating the cost of a July start date.

There are a few starting in mid-August on CA.

Yeah. I don't even remember if I put myself on the dorm waitlist. I guess after the first waitlist I was sort of bored with them.
