The op is either flame or terribly uninformed (in either case, it's probably a good idea to disregard his advice, regardless of claimed status as a current student). 170/3.9, admitted to YLS, chose HLS, and claims both that GULC is 'less competitive' and that HLS is 'very good at dropping students out'? Ridiculous.

Probably around the 21st. I can't imagine finding something constructive to do in more than a week and a half before orientation.
Zoe's actually looks very good and is less than ten minutes from my place. I also found this site: http://www.people.fas.harvard.edu/~lipoff/miscellaneous/menus/ TJ's is not conveniently located for me but Reliable Market is not too far - at least until it gets cold. 18

Please enlighten me, then! I don't want to cook *all* the time. I know almost nothing about the area, but if your definition is 'nearby' is similar to mine, I didn't see anything else on Yelp. The biggest plus is that I'm close to the HFA.

So those places are actually close to my apartment? If so, I'm glad you know exactly where I live
 I never said there weren't/aren't a lot of places to eat - just that my place is not that conveniently situated to get to them quickly (<6 minutes). I probably have a narrow definition of 'convenient,' but that's my prerogative. 20
