I remember hearing a list of things you can do to improve your standing if you're waitlisted (i.e., additional LOR, additional statement, visits, etc.). Do these same sorts of actions work to your benefit if you're deferred, or is it best to just leave your application alone?
Rejected yesterday. I must say I'm extremely let down -- I really thought I'd get deferred or WL...keeping my head up though -- I'm going to be an attorney regardless, and my success will not be dictated by the institution's name on my degree.
I did not receive an automatic notification of my application status -- I called a week or two ago and they gave me my complete date.
I'm not quite sure where I'll favor between UF and UGA -- I'm waiting on a lot of other decisions, and I'm still really let down about Georgetown. Once I receive my share of acceptances and dings I'll be able to think much more clearly about my options...any sort of financial aid could play a huge factor as well...
Thanks for the congrats -- good luck to you all, too.
