Reviews, Visits, and Rankings / Re: Is Iowa overrated?
« on: October 06, 2007, 12:40:31 AM »
If you're looking at Big 10 and you're unlikely to get into Northwestern or Michigan, Minnesota is probably your best bet, with Iowa a close second.

Part of the reason Iowa Law is consistently rated so high is that it has a very, very well respected library.

With your numbers, you'd have an average shot at getting in.  It looks like you're below the median on both, but only slightly.  If you were a resident, you'd be pretty safe, but you should still be somewhat secure.

I second that- Iowa's got a huge library, which brings them up in the rankings.  But now that everything is online, library size doesn't matter much.

Yeah, you better go in cursive!  I didn't and when I got my score, it was a 180, but marked "invalid"  :(

:)

You should move the 99 to make it 199, and 120 to be the percentile.  That would be *more* realistic, at least on this board.

Law School Applications / Re: Harvard Phone Interview - International Call?

Harvard is actually not doing phone interviews this year.  I have it from a VERY good source that they're going to be conducting interviews via videoconferencing using AIM.  Just a heads up for all you 0Ls.
