Congrats to both of you! I'm still waiting on a decision (I just got my second LOR in last week) - wish me luck!

Minority Topics / Re: Confusion regarding ethnicity.

I am a college admission counselor, and for our purposes, we will consider Middle-Eastern students to be Asian if they wish. They're still eligible for our minority scholarships.

Minority Topics / Re: i'm a muslim girl- do i count as a URM?

Hmmm....I disagree. I would indicate that you are of Lebanese descent. URM is not limited to strict sub-categories...diversity is wide-ranging. I'm sure Muslims and Lebanese Americans probably are under-represented in American law schools.

Where should I go next fall? / Re: Tier 2 and Proud!

Thanks bfree! To give an idea about how Carlisle compares...The transitional building there is actually quite nice, but the main drawback is that's it's right along a busy highway. They did a really good job of turning it into a more than suitable academic building though (I think it used to house a phone company or something). Also, the employment numbers seem to be on a definite upward trend. Remember that just a couple of years ago, PSU wasn't even in the top 100. They're rising quite quickly. I'm interested in seeing where they rank when the '07 rankings are released (I'm sure the 100M can't hurt).

Oh woops, I'm sorry, I didn't notice that you'd already applied there  :)

Widener's deadline isn't until May...t4 in Delaware and PA (2 campuses with different focuses)

Nope, you're not the only one....and I've heard that pretty much all the people who THINK they know change their minds after 1L anyway.

Awesome, thanks.

What if your LSDAS reports have already gone out, and then another LOR comes in? Does LSAC send the new LOR automatically, or do I have to call my schools and tell them to request it?

Recommendations / Re: asked for lor three months ago, and still not in!

The same thing happened to me. I finally had the president of a local community service organization for which I volunteer write one. I'm sure it's not the best letter, but I didn't want to wait any longer to go complete. Whatever happened to the OP? Could you get someone to write an emergency LOR just so you can be complete?
