I don't think law school owns me. I'm in my second semester. I got 8 hours of sleep every night last semester, had dinner every night with my husband, still managed to attend family functions, and left town for a weekend in November. It's all about time management. (and yes, I got good grades too)

It really depends on the location. In a rural area, it could be 40-50 hours a week. Urban ADAs often work much longer hours.

I'm wondering the same thing. And since only one of my professors posts old exams, I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to figure it out until exam time.

No, we have one of these guys in our section too. As soon as he opens his mouth, all the eyes begin to roll.

I think you answered your own question. You really shouldn't need permission to go to the library - if that's what you want to do, just go do it.

Hey everyone... This is probably a dumb question, but so many other students from different schools are talking about having signed up for classes already, so... we cant sign up until we get our ID on the 22nd right?

And does anyone know of a site where students rate/discuss the professors? At my undergrad there was a site like that and it was soooo helpful in choosing which professors to sign up with (not that we have much of a choice right now). Thanks! See ya soon. - but I'm pretty sure we have no say in which professors we get for our first year. I think we're just assigned to a section.

Ok, I couldn't remember either so I called IT services. In case anyone else was wondering, there are outlets, but the IT guy recommended getting the largest battery available anyway.
