Personal Statement / Risky ps, need a reader.
« on: January 01, 2007, 05:55:15 PM »
I feel that the most important aspect of a PS is to give the reader a good impression of who you are, and thats what i tried to focus on. Talked about my upbringing and my education and tried to imply why I would make an excellent law student without being too explicit. Anyone willing to give it a read? ill read yours in exchange

Are you sure? perhaps they dont require it, but consider it when evaluating your app?

Law School Applications / Question about Resume format
« on: December 30, 2006, 01:48:32 PM »
Ive been looking at the examples here: http://www.law.harvard.edu/admissions/jd/apply.php and i noticed none of them have a cover page or a list of references. Do i need a cover page? thats kind of what the personal statement is anyways. How about references? Seems unlikely, given the amount of apps that schools receive, that they would actually call up your places of employment.
