Walking tour or 5km run?

Studying for the LSAT / PT 7, Section 1, #16

Hey guys,

I don't get why the correct answer is B.  Shouldn't the previous estimate of Halley's mass be too high instead of too low? greater mass --> more light reflected, and since the new finding actually shows that the brightness is smaller than the brightness thought previously, isn't the new mass actually lower?  What am I not seeing here?

I canceled my score, and didn't heard anything from LSAC since I canceled 5 days ago.  But then I just looked at my letter and I didn't put in the signature!!!!!!!!!!!!  Am I screwed or what?  I have proof of fax and everything, but do you think I haven't heard from them because I didn't sign the letter.

There's quite a number of trap answers in this one (B,C,E) and I've narrowed it down to two (B,E)...why is E the correct answer as opposed to B?  What kind of assumption question is this?!?!

(before the test)  Give it a day in between or what?  How did it optimize your performance?  For all who already took the test, please feed my curiosity.

Studying for the LSAT / The Silent Timer Manual?
« on: December 28, 2006, 02:19:55 PM »
Ok, so I bought the Silent Timer from an insensitive ebayer, and he didn't give me a manual to operate it.  You have to be a customer of Silent Timer in order to download it.  If anyone has the manual and the management guide, I would really appreciate it if you can e-mail them to me.  Thank you!
