I don't know who cardozo is, but I had a phone interview last week from Toby and was accepted off wait-list a few days later! I'd take it as a good sign!

Just FYI the kaplan course worked wonders for me, I'd highly recommend them. The course I took was quite diverse, with minorities probably being over-represented as compared to the general population demographics.

WL'd at Harvard, no interview.
Yep I can't think of a safer school (in the US or UK, no direct exp in AU). Anywhere in the world there's always some risk, its a fact of life, but the risk is really minimal. Think about how many hundreds of thousands of students there are in many thousands of universities across the US, as sad as it is with that many sooner or later something bad is going to happen, but your probably more likely to die by slipping in a bathtub. Heck, UMD has more students than Oxford, Cambridge and LSE combined (I think)!
I managed to mix up which room I was supposed to be in and peeked into another room before figuring it out(also LSAT test takers, but not with last names starting with M...), it was pretty lame and the proctor (a young military guy it looked) was giving some poor kid a really hard time. I was happily surprised when I found our room and our nice, friendly proctors!
Yep, leaning toward UVA, unless something unexpected happens (like an acceptance letter from Stanford).

I'm above 75% at UVA for both LSAT and GPA and was offered 18k a year (tuition + fees = 33k). Sorta disappointed with the offer, but better than nothing.
