Personal Statements, Resumes, and Letters of Recommendation / One bad grade
« on: December 19, 2006, 12:16:05 PM »
I got a D- in Tennis 1 - Is that going to ruin my chances for law school  :-X

(This is a joke by the way - not the D-, but the question)

I'm interested in hearing others feelings on this topic...Thanks

Glad to see there are others like me out there. I took it last December and got a 155 (no where near where I wanted to be) I studied my ass off this summer & fall and was pulling 165-168s (even a 171 once) on practice tests but am still so nervous about the actual score. I will feel like such a pile of crap if I did not improve 8-10 points because I studied so much but I'm afriad of that the axiety of the real test day messed me up.

Anyone get into a law school that according to numbers alone you shouldn't have made it? Please share your story and any of the factors that helped you. I'm curious  :)

I'll read it. PM me :)

I know what it means, but does anyone know what they are looking for? Can you just have your recommender plug in the schools name in the letter or do they want the recommender to directly addres something about the school? I'm a little confused.

Happy holidays everyone!
