Black Law Students / Re: Ask a White Dude

Of course. One more: why do white guys indentify themselves as white, instead of, say, Irish-American, German-American, and so on.

Last time I checked, I am not white. My skin is actually light-olive.

The whole concept of "ethnicity" in this country is ridiculous (along with affirmative action), as are the "ethnicity" choices on certain forms.

I am sending MontBlanc pens to my two recommenders.. will spend about $80 for each recommender.

Excited?? Please.. Their head design guy has a habit of taking other things and copying them for Apple (see the Business Week cover story from a few weeks ago).

This device looks cool... BUT.. there are two things that bother me:

1) Touch screen.. That is an accident waiting to happen.. not to mention scratches and fingerprints.

2) 2-year contract with CINGULAR required!! this will not sit well with many people who got screwed during the Cingular/AT&T merger.. not to mention the bad service.

The Simpsons is an American cartoon show

Sorry.. I stopped watching cartoons after grade 9.

um if we make history as the only national champions in both basketball and football in the SAME year

Uhm... If the college athletics douches would treat football like every other sport, there would be playoffs..

I hate college sports.. It's all about the money..

HLS is the country's most expensive, and therefore best law school.

Actually, Yale is the top law school in the world.

In fact, one of my professors made a point out of telling us that we are not supposed to have any sort of life in the first year...

man.. what is it with college professors? That is, the smug attitude?

Especially, law professors.. there's something about a law professor with ZERO legal experience teaching law that rubs me the wrong way.

Other than GPA/LSAT...

DO NOT put your LSAT score on your C.V.

Honestly, nobody but a law school is going to care about your LSAT score.

if you can keep your job and go to law school at night then that would be the no-brainer.
