I would say so... of the schools that used admissions indices, that are on the spreadsheet, I was accepted at all the schools where my admissions index was above the 90th percentile, whereas my 72nd percentile at Columbia got me waitlisted, my 82nd percentile at Stanford got me waitlisted, and my 87th percentile at Berkeley got me rejected.

Interesting... how did this fare for you?  Did it give you a good idea of what to expect?

This is not encouraging.  Waitlisted with a 72 percentile at Columbia?  That sucks.  Thanks for the useful spreadsheet though.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: Extreme Generosity for October 2004 LSAT-ers

Unless someone has access to a site to put a 48MB file for download, besides Kazaa, of course.

Come on, someone has to have a website to host this stuff!

Will the schools be sending stuff to the current address or the permanent address?  Does anyone know?

Studying for the LSAT / Re: Is it possible to increase 20 points

20 points is definitely doable.  Especially if you start pretty low and work hard.

BMAN is 100% right.  Why would Rangel sponsor a bill that will disproportionately hurt minorities.  It doesn't make sense.

I averaged 167 on my practice tests and got a 172 on the real one.  I used temporal expansion meditation during the test to slow down the world around me.  It seemed like I had half an hour per question and made the test really really long.

Are you kidding?  If not, how can I get involved?

I hope I never end up in school with anyone who looks down upon someone else simply because they went to community college.  What kind of elitist *&^% is that?

I don't look down on him simply cause he went to community college.  I look down on him because of the stupid *&^% he posts.  Sorry if I offended anyone, I just can't stand Victor for some reason.

Vic, don't try to change your argument now.  We were arguing about the lack of diversity in law schools, not in the legal profession.

BTW - you posted that you scored below a 150 on your diagnostic, and let's not kid ourselves here, you haven't improved.  You also posted that you have been studying since sophomore year of college, and you still haven't been able to break into the 150's.  That's just sad.  Stop obsessing over the WB and try to raise that score so you can make it into the third tier.

Eh . . I think you need to stop obsessing over me.

Why are you so concerned on my scores? I mean sure you post your scores for the world to see. Good for you. But ease up off my nuts kid.

Would you like a copy of my transcript?

No thanks, community college transcripts don't really do it for me.  You are the biggest homo on the board, that is why I have it in for you.

With circular arguments like this you make it very clear to everyone why you are scoring in the 140's.  Like jacy said, maybe you should hit the books, Vic.

Why dont you answer the question?

There's a definately lack of diversity in the law field. AA is suppose to improve this.

Scoring in the 140's? Where did you get that? Making random assumptions like that it's no suprise you wont cut it.

Lack of diversity at law schools?  What are you talking about.  The top lawschools all have at least 25% of their class filled by minorities, with many more reporting a percentage greater than 30%.  Do you want double AA or something Vic?  Stop being such a homo.

If there isnt a lack of diversity why is there AA then?

Ding dong ding dong . . .

You need to stop trading magic cards and eating that Stove Top and realize whats going on.
