they were all re-runs...
aww... At least you get to watch the Olympics, though...
i guess... fox, those bastards... they tricked me by showing a new clip in the commercials, and then they ended up showing re-runs...
I can't believe I just wasted 2 hours of my life. I had seen every one of those. Ginatio, you bastard.

You're right. I'm back, but just to make sure you don't get the wrong idea. I've enjoyed most of the discussions here, including the ones where people strongly disagreed.
But I gotta crack down.
So good things to everyone.
The most liberal LSDer has left us. Go west, democrat, go west.

Anyone know the averages for Cornell? It's taking them AGES to process my damn transcript.
LSAC must be really flooded now. I confirmed from both of my undergrad registrars that transcripts were mailed last Tuesday and my LSAC account status still says they haven't been received.
It took them 3 weeks to process my transcipts. Pretty unbelievable.

UVA is 159/3.26
Wow - that's rather low...
What part of it do you think is low?
Hmmmm, I thought that 159 is toward the high side. Maybe you were just expecting more from UVA.

This is just a public service or whatever it's called for my fellow LSDers! I went through the Official ABA Data on various law schools (see the LSAC website), got the percentages of graduates from various law schools who go on to do judicial clerkships (i.e., this is not at at all a comprehensive list but simply a personal one), and ranked the schools in order from highest to lowest. In parenthesis, I also included the actual or raw number of graduates clerking out of the total number of those employed (which will in addition give you a rough idea of how large each school's class is). It was originally just for me (nerd that I am), but perhaps some of you guys might benefit from this, too? Anyhow, if you're interested here ya go (if not, sorry about that):
38.3 (72/188) Yale 26.3 (47/179) Stanford 23.3 (45/193) Minnesota 22.0 (118/537) Harvard 21.4 (39/182) Chicago 20.0 (72/360) UVa 19.3 (68/352) Michigan 17.5 (22/126) University of Washington 16.2 (73/450) NYU 15.5 (27/174) Cornell 15.2 (36/237) Penn 15.0 (57/382) Columbia 14.0 (24/171) Vanderbilt 13.1 (36/275) Boalt 13.0 (29/223) Duke 12.6 (27/215) Northwestern 10.8 (48/446) Texas 10.6 (59/558) GULC 6.2 (12/193) WUSTL 5.9 (08/135) UC Davis 5.5 (15/273) UCLA 5.2 (10/194) USC 4.1 (14/345) Hastings
BTW, I also totally recommend checking out something called (and this is a mouthful), "The 2004 BCG Attorney Search Guide to Class Ranking Distinctions and Law Review Admission at America's Top 50 Law [sic]." It's got some pretty cool general info on the Top 50 law schools that'll probably get us even more jittery over apps and stuff. Here it is:
http://www.bcgsearch.com/bcgguide.pdf
Thanks for doing this.

I just emailed LSAC. If you're having problems too, please take a moment to write to them too. Their "time saving" program is a major waste of time. It's pretty irresponsible to release a program that is so full of glitches.
Yeah I emailed them too. They have yet to respond. I'm sure they are in panic mode right now, suckers.
