Studying for the LSAT / Re: Post Mortem site

its an attempt to try to reconstruct the test.

so for a LR section a post mortem thread would list every question on the exam and then also the agreed upon credited response by a majority of the ppl on LSD.
its used as a way to gague how you did basically.

in the past they have been pretty accurate, but there are always a few contested questions that have a few potential answers listed b/c there is no clear majority.

for at least the past 6 tests the score has been released on that Friday [or earlier--i received my December score  that Thurs night]  so it will be earlier than what LSAC says as a rule of thumb

Studying for the LSAT / help symbolizing a clue
« on: May 28, 2007, 03:17:37 PM »
the following is a clue from Feb '99 games section [game # 2]
for some reason i am blanking out on how to symbolize it

clue--   if it is not the case that the park contains both laurels and oaks, then it contains firs and spruces.

can this be symbolized in one symbol or do you need to break it up into two? thanks

Studying for the LSAT / DEC 06' Games
« on: May 18, 2007, 05:35:43 PM »
i have a question about the last game in the Dec 06' games section.

how do you guys approach setting up this problem?
i cant really find a good way to organize it efficiently. Thanks

i tried both ordering rules set-up [numbering 1-8 and saying which letter cant go in what box, ect..] and then a chain   [b/c not one letter has a specific spot it has to be in]     but neither seemed to work well.

i was just wondering if anyone knows whether or not the ABA policy of taking the highest score will stay the same or whether it will go back to averaging?

yeah august 1 seems to make the most sense, esp if you have to sign a lease.

but you could always sign a lease and then not move everything in until right before orientation if you had a job over the summer.
i still have to go back down  to look at all the R apt complexes though.

i dont think there is one. i havent heard about it.
