Holy *&^%, no f-ing way. 20k a year? Overall cost of attendance max for UVA = 90k. Trust me, they over budget like crazy.

but isn't that because we'll be the only law ulti team?  ;)

I don't think he meant we'd rule other ulti law schools. I think he meant the world. I call second-in-command.

You'll be my right-hand man, and M1 can be my left-hand man.  We'll call ourselves the Triumvirate of Terror...  or something scary sounding like that.  I dunno, actually that's pretty lame.  Any suggestions?

Somewhere, dasadder is weeping.

I have a long list of physical labor jobs around the house and in the yard (powerwashing and painting the house and deck, burying a downspout, refilling stone deposits around the house etc).  Should be a fantastic summer!

m1, honestly, if UVA doesn't offer you enough money to at least cover the difference (and they're pretty stingy, so good luck), you should probably stick with Penn. Seriously. I know, I can't believe I'm saying it either.

wait, do rape victims push "the wrong buttons" in people?

Well, the adcom could be a rapist for all you know, but let's hope not. It could very well come of as fishing for sympathy etc. If you manage to put it in a legal context and make something worthwhile out of it, I'm sure that could work. If the essence of the essay is just that 'I got raped', I think it could backfire, yes. Especially if you start mentioning gray areas etc.

So baically you're ok with exactly what the OP said she would do? Why didn't you just say that instead of giving her the exact opposite advice the first time around?

I think the concern Huntington was expressing is that if that information was somehow leaked, there are unfortunately people in this world that would use this as a source of derilement. The fear of a leak is infinitesimally minimal at best, though.
