Does anyone know if deferrals come in smaller (normal sized) envelopes as well?  I have a letter waiting for me at my permanent address and want to know if it's a guaranteed rejection or if it could be a deferral/WL as well.

So it looks like those of us who were hoping for a second round of emails are going to be let down.  I got my rejection today.  Simple white envelope with letter stating that class size is limited to 180 this year, so they had to be extraordinarily stingy. Fun...

Pretty big let down... I was expecting maybe a deferral or w/l, but nope.  Just not in the cards

According to LSAC their class size was 175 last year so there's nothing wrong with the class size being "limited to 180."

Except that for admissions purposes it's like a class size of 150, when you consider the ~30 deferrals that they apparently have from last cycle.

I'm pretty sure the EA deadline for WashU to notify us is 2/1.  ED is def. 12/15.

Rejection from GT EA.
Rejection from Cornell EA.
Rejection from Penn EA.
I will be so bummed out that I won't be able to finish my American Congress paper and will end up with a C in the class. And when the rest of the schools I applied to ask for an updated transcript, seeing a C will be an auto-ding for them as well.

I don't know about the others, but I can't see you being rejected from GULC with your numbers...

Yeah, 3.95/168?  I can almost guarantee acceptance at Cornell, probably GULC, and Penn would probably take you too but they might make you wait for your acceptance letter.  I bet you hear from Cornell soon.

I guess I'm not down about it though, because it would've caused a headache for me. Having to decide by January 5th would be a pain, because GWU probably wouldn't get back to me by then. And at this point I prefer GWU due to D.C. placement. But my mother is praying the rosary that I get into ND, so that I don't go to that "awful" Washington, D.C. but rather end up at that "nice Catholic" school.

I'd expect no less from Mary mother of Jesus.
