Law School Admissions / Re: how smart are the students in your college?
« on: January 14, 2007, 06:29:17 PM »
In the scale where it shows the individual percentages of students and where they scored... how many years are encompassed? They show a lot of people taking it at my school and I cant imagine they all took it this year.

Thanks

150/ 3.2

Medium Size Private Catholic... Ranked Well regionally.

I knew I was not at an Ivy or anything... but I did not realize the numbers would be so low at my school... no wonder the Pre Law Advisor did not know what to do with me when I said I would only apply to Tiers 1 and 2.

Oh Well.

What do these numbers mean to adcoms? Just because I do well in comparison to those people at my school does not mean I do that well in comparison to everyone else applying and isnt that all that matters?

Visits, Admit Days, and Open Houses / Re: Fordham Admitted Student's Day
« on: January 11, 2007, 03:04:40 PM »
Although the money is a little tempting, I want to go to the best school possible.

So, barring Cornell deciding to admit me which I feel is highly unlikely based on last years deferred applicants I will be heading to Fordham.

Are you going to Fordham? or have you not decided yet?

Looking for a place to live in NYC is going to be tough though.

Thanks again for the information.

I am assuming they will have another event since many people have not even found out if they were admitted or not yet, I will try and make it to that one.

I did visit the school once just to see what it looked like, however, I did not think I was going to get in at the time and I would like another chance to view it.

I was supposed to go and something came up at the last minute.

How was it? Is it worth going if they have another one?

Did you get any free stuff?

Thanks

I covet only one school... CORNELL... sadly they have deferred me which does not bode well for me, based on past LSN years.
