I had a post up here a month ago and had a bunch of interest, but only a few actual bites, so here i am looking for more. I have started a blog at www.lawschoolstory.com to document the experience of law school for a few of us starting 1Ls, and i am looking for just a couple more people that would like to contribute to it in order to keep it lively. Anything goes, as long as it relates to your reasons for going and LS experience in general - and that we maintain a PG environment. If any of you would like to contribute as authors, please pm me and i'll let you know how to sign up. Of course we would appreciate it if you could post often, but I realize that during the next few months we will all be swamped, so write as much as you can. Check it out at www.lawschoolstory.com to see what it's like so far. Thanks in advance, BC UC DAVIS 2010!

Modification: if we haven't already been in contact, i have to limit the number of writers. I have a good number thus far. I apologize but for the time being i cannot accept any others. If we have been talking and you haven't gotten your invite yet, please pm me. *********** Sorry about not getting back to any of you about the blog. I have been swamped with finishing up work and moving to school. Hopefully the hijacking hasn't become a fully formed alternate plan yet I would love to have you guys and gals on board. PM me if you're interested and haven't heard back from me. Include your email address and i'll send an invite to author. The blog is http://lawschoolpost.blogspot.comI haven't had time to set up a separate domain, and wordpress installation. Also, please remember this is designed as a PG-ish site that anyone could be comfortable looking at, profanity and harsh language at a minimum please. Thanks a ton, BC

Hello everyone,
In the spirit of LSD (as this site has been a wonderful way for me to idle away my precious hours these last months), I am about to launch a blog on which i plan to discuss my upcoming law school experience as it comes and goes. I am also interested in finding out if any of you would like to participate as regular authors (what regular means, i'm not quite sure - perhaps a post or two week unless we are drowning in homework , which is likely).
I see it as a nice way to blow off steam, break away from homework, give my grandparents something to read, and possibly help someone in our shoes these past few months make a decision about where to toss their money.
Let me know if any of you are interested, or would like more information. if not, i'll get started and send Grandma the URL. Thanks.

I am torn between Case, Kent, and UConn right now myself. What kind of IP are you interested in? From what i can tell, Kent has a fantastic patent and science heavy IP program and reputation, and i lean more towards Case because of their softer IP track - which fits my interests more closely.
Good luck.

I am having tough time deciding between Case Western and U. Connecticut. If any of you are familiar with either, or are making a similar decision, I would love to hear your thoughts. I am interested in soft IP, tech/media/internet business organizations and business planning.
Case w/17k year (approx 110,000 in loans). I like their IP program, 2 clinics and a wide variety of non Patent classes.
UConn w/10k year + in state for years 2-3 + 15k grant for the first year (approx 80,000 in loans). Their IP program is growing with the start up of their IP/Entreprenurial clinic and they have a decent number of IP classes.

Case offered me $200 in reimbursement to come visit anytime. It came with my acceptance letter.

In at Case Western via email.
congrats! where are you leaning at this point with your acceptances? I know you're still waiting to hear back from more than a few, but just wondering about where you're thinking right now if that cycle were to hypothetically end today.
Thats a fantastic question. in fact, my wife asks me every day I don't know exactly. IU would be great but with my family and desire to have a lower debt load, i would probably lean towards Kent because of the scholarship. - all the best. EDIT - Case (if i get a scholarship), U Conn, and USD are all very possible options as well.

Just received a $30,000 scholarship to U. Conn. over three years, 10k each year with no minimum requirements.
