How many lawyers that have gone to law school since the overwhelming importance on USNWR rankings became standard will become famous?
How many future lawyers that will become judges/hiring partners dismiss anyone who graduated from a school that they themselves joked about as being a third tier toilet and therefore unworthy?
How many law schools that say that the USNWR rankings should be ignored with one face, and then brag about their placement in the rankings with the other?
OK - so start a thread and ask them.
They were rhetorical. My point was that in the past there have been many lawyers that have gone on to successful careers without regard to rankings. The current environment of the USNWR rankings having such a heavy influence will probably change a lot of things down the line. So what can we believe going into law school this fall? Do the rankings count or don't they?
