I participated in OCI at UT this fall and the employer spreadsheet document provided by the CSO (I'm assuming we're talking about the same document) included firms that were requesting resume drops but not screening on campus. 2

Weird, considering the post on Freshlaw claiming that it's "extremely difficult" to get in. i'm not felsen, but i thought i would pipe in here. last year berman taught con law, not crim. i had him for con law during the fall and found him to be a great prof and, once you get over the initial fright, a real funny guy. he assigned more reading than any other prof that taught my section (it was all unedited cases, no case book) which left everyone moaning and groaning. i suspect that his no casebook policy is limited to con law. 3

lugging it around got old but the worst part was cramped workspace in class. 4

For the record, Margee, I'm in your section and it wasn't that bad. It was over quickly and I bet no one remembers it (I only do because I have a stage-fright thing going about talking in that class, or any class for that matter).

I have a friend who transferred from Davis to UCLA (a couple of years ago) and was very happy with the result.

I was the one looking for dance studios via the myspace group but I haven't come up with any leads (of course, I was offered referrals to various strip clubs in response to my question). Margee, I'll let you know if I hear of anything promising. Please do the same

I didn't buy a MRG pass over the summer but I was able to log onto the PTS website and buy a SJG permit about a week ago without a hitch. Probably just dumb luck based on all the hype I've seen on the message boards. |
