You know...

Calgary is just 750km away from Mount St. Helens.  Maybe we'll get some ash over here...

Don't worry, Matt, I think you're still going to go to UofA.

What the hell, I just might join you there in a couple of years from now  ;)

Ha!  I had to write the LSAT in a large lecture theatre, with "flip up" writing tables rather than actual desks, which gives you very little writing surface to work with.

I was well aware of this long before today, but while the proctor was reading out all the instructions, this guy in my room puts up his hand and starts ranting about how we had to pay $150 to take the test, so why wasn't there adequete writing space in the testing room, etc. etc.

And then, 3 minutes into the very first section, the proctor walks up to me and was like,
"I'll take that for you and put it up at the front with your personal belongings", pointing to my timer.  I said "you mean, my timer?" and she was like, "oh, that's your timer?  Sorry."  That kind of threw me off, and wasted a precious minute at least    ::)

Otherwise, things went well :D

Studying for the LSAT / Re: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, I liked the whole cursive writing thing.  It was 15 minutes of active meditation- my mind was emptied of everything but the mechanical process of creating cursive letters, and I felt a deep sense of inner peace...  8)

Ah, hell.  I wish I could drink, but I have taken WAY too much cold medication today as it is, and I fear that the combination of all those drugs with alcohol could be lethal...

I gotta go find myself some dope.

Heh, 100 questions on the LSAT.  I don't believe that has ever happened before.

It makes ya wonder:  What does this mean?

Oh Canada! / Re: So Canada .... how did we do?

Heh, thanks for asking, Cheeks!

Considering that I have a head cold, and that the proctor tried to take my timer away, I think I did okay (low 160's).  I thought about postponing, but then I decided, what the hell, it's only a test and I have a zillion more (and more difficult) tests to write before the end of this year, so I just decided to get it over with now.

How is everyone else doing?  Yey for finishing the LSAT!!!

I have lived in McKenzie Lake for the last 8 years, so we were both in the "south" half of Calgary, anyway  ;)

Studying for the LSAT / Re: 2 AR (LG) sections which was experimental?
« on: October 02, 2004, 06:03:11 PM »
The second section was definitely experimental- I had two LG's, and the experimental one had a circular linearity question as the fourth question.

As far as I understand it, the experimental is always one of the first 3 sections...
