o my god.
I have nothing to add yet, but will share when applicable.
Wait. I did get an e-mail from Duke the other day. I am waitlisted probably because of my poor LSAT performance. 3.76/165
Hey there. A Duke waitlist is nothing to sneeze at. Going to write them a letter of continued interest?

Columbia students are bigoted pricks.
At Harvard, the blow jobs are free.
Georgetown and Penn have a wondrous laid back atmosphere where the law is absorbed through osmosis.
Cornell is filled with beer guzzling hooligans.
Do they cost where you're from?

Wisconsin:
Gorgeous blonde midwestern girls?
Iced over Tundra?
Dude, I can't help myself. Everything you say plays in my head with the Ali G accent.
For me there's no getting around Borat's foul and gratuitously heinous naked-fat-man wrestling scene.

Harvard- Filled with wannabe-suave, acts-like-he-doesn't-study-24-7 asian guys with masculinity issues and short, pale overachieving red-headed girls with inferiority complexes. The women have poor body image due to inadequate cup size, the men have inflated need for acheivement due to inadequate penis size. All are prestige-whores, but few own to it, as to do so is very unfashionable.
Wow, that's totally me. How come I'm not in at Harvard yet then?
Perhaps you forgot to submit cup size?

Yale- All the guys look and dress like Tucker Carlson, and all the girls look and dress like America Ferrera. And they only have sex with each other. A thick coating of dust covers everything in the school, because nobody dares to touch any of it.

Stanford- Over-eager, status-conscious students who spend all their free time hiking, mountain biking, and kayaking, not because they enjoy those activities, but because they like the image that lifestyle conveys. People wear compression shorts to class.
Chicago- The cast of 80's classic Real Genius goes to law school. The wardrobe has not changed... at all. The students spend more time in the library than the books do.
Columbia- Ambitious but pessimistic guys who take on a ravenous look whenever Wall Street is mentioned. All the girls are economically-disadvantaged, politically radical URMs. Absolutely nobody is actually from New York City.
ACK! Don't even like those on girls, and trust me, I like a lotta things on girls.

The DVD was matriculation kryptonite. Everyone involved with the virtual tour should be expelled. It was black and white, with multi minute features on the vending machines and back door. Even better was the commentary, "This is the library, there are books to study here." Oh really, what are those handle thingies on the doors for. The "Why WUSTL" was equally inspiring. "We came here because it was a school that both of us could get into (married couple)." Really, that's conviction! Now send me the scholarship information you said I would get in early February.
PS The guy giving the tour had boobs.
Heh! Well, we law school nerds can't all be sexy.

What's COL? So...
1. Umich 2. Wayne 3. MSU (on the rise) 4. UofD 5. Ave Maria 6. Cooley
I'd rearrange that a bit: 1. UMich 2. Wayne 3. Ave Maria 4. MSU 5. University of Detroit Mercy 6. Cooley My opinion is based largely on the fact that, although Ave Maria is an exceptionally small law school with a helluva religious slant, their curriculum is semi-rigorous and I have seen them used a number of times as a springboard for entry into U of M. Seeing as UMich transfers are 80% in-state residents they have to come from somewhere. MSU College of Law is sinking fast. University of Detroit Mercy has always been sub-par but they are still considered better than Cooley. And my thoughts on Cooley are that the school is a joke and it will never escape this reputation for as long as it exists.
