Ok guys, in at Yale. And as I've stated earlier: If a Yale acceptance were to come along, NOTHING else in my world would matter... I have thus withdrawn from absolutely everywhere but Yale. It's been one amazing miracle after another. First UMich and then Yale. I'm ecstatic!! Oh, and I haven't slept in going on 48 hours either.
First time I've congratulated anyone (I'm a jerk), but you deserve it. Completely awesome! What website did you start?
Heh, thanks Seona! Man, I wish I could say but I don't think that'd be too smart. Don't want you jerks lookin' for handouts just kiddin'

i'm actually kinda glad now that my dad made me apply to yale, he even paid for it. i think he just wanted to say, "yeah, my daughter applied to yale"
My parents were kind of "eh" about it, so I made a deal with them: they paid for the app fee, but if and when I don't get in, I repay them, haha.
As for Data, I'm this close to making a "Where's Data" thread!
Here, I'm Here! I just got off the phone with all of my family, friends, coworkers, former coworkers, acquaintances, pizza delivery kids... basically anyone who'd listen that I got into Yale! And it's 3:26 AM. I have NEVER been this happy in my whole entire life!!!! Miss Celies and Mpark: You both know what that's for AHHHHH !!! I may never sleep again.
Okay, I am crazy for being up at this hour, but I'm glad I am, because now I can finallllly say, CONGRATS!!! Yayyyy!!!
Well, kamsahamnida eephuh-nee And I sincerely hope you pay not a cent to your parents because you'll be coming to YALE!!

Anyone have any more information about this Provisional list? And those that deferred from last year to this year, were they high lsat/gpa types or lower # folks?
I heard from a successfully admitted waitlister that they use a grouping method- placing those that are elgible in a lineup of sorts with like individuals that have similar ECs, scores, ethnicities, etc. Then as the admitted students that were admitted for certain characteristics begin to withdraw or decide to go somewhere else, the waitlisters are then taken from the group that most closely resembles the student who withdrew.
