I didn't apply to Northwestern (going straight through so it seemed like a long shot), but I live very close to Chicago. I love DC, I really do, but Chicago is an incredible city and would be a fantastic place to go to law school. You'll be in great shape with either place, but Chicago is fantastic.

Sorry, just had to start a snarky thread. I'll post a few good stories eventually.
Short version: The professors are heavyweights and the lectures are fascinating. The other students are infuriating. The study skills and career sessions are elementary and worthless. The other students are unbelievably clueless. 37

Hey-
I was curious what everyone thought about going with the really small laptop route for next year. I currently have an Insprion 8600 which was great when it never left my desk, but it really seems like it'll kick my ass hauling it around. I know the Lenovo X series is highly regarded, and I've heard good things about the Dell D430. I was wondering if any of ya'll are going with the 12.1 route or have experience taking notes with a tiny computer. Thanks a ton. |
