Bitter that I got a big envelope that turned out to be a brochure and 2 more rejections.

Yesterday, I got rejected to my first choice.  After being deferred back in December and giving me false hope for 2 months, I have been rejected.  I now no longer have any status checkers left to obsess over and mail hasn't arrived yet.  I'm running out of pending schools to wait for. :-\

I got my decision soon after I noticed the date on "date last update" changed, and I didn't send anything new in. HTH.

I checked out the need access link and it says you have to pay $15 to apply!!!  Do we really need to fill it out? Isn't FAFSA enough? Plus I don't even think I'd get in.

Hastings... or so I thought?

At this point the thought of working for another year is actually sounding like a viable option. Not likely, but possible.

They're already waitlisting people?!!  I applied there too and I'm still waiting on a decision.  Just wondering, did you apply for LEOP?

I'm in the same boat and only have 1 acceptance, but I don't think it is time to start panicking just yet (or at least I am trying to tell myself that). From what my law school friends say, some acceptances don't roll in until March/April. Don't jump out the window just yet!

Maybe it's time to jump out the window.  I got 2 more rejections today, which brings it to a grand total of: 7.

I got a hidden fee waiver on LSDAS and got deferred.  I think it's really going to be a rejection because LSN shows that they haven't rejected anyone.

Also got waitlisted from a school that sent me a huge brochure packet with a fee waiver.

My life sucks. :(

i join the litany of bitterness....

i disavow the rolling acceptance scheme and the fact that i applied ONLY to places where i'm borderline (hey, i figured that i had to get in somewhere, right?)

oh the days when i used to be a happy person....

I miss those happy days too.  I too only applied to borderline schools.  I'm still acceptanceless and I turned in all my apps in November!  Guess I better start looking for a different career.

So far I've gotten rejected from most of my longshots.  Will post if I actually get into one.
