what does it mean?

someone said, "it means that you're qualified, but there's no room"

seems like a lot of you have been WL'd.

It means "not now, maybe later."

Hey Soft Factors that might be a positive sign that they said to check your email history.  I remember when i called a couple of months ago they said they send all waitlist and rejections by normal mail and all acceptances by email first so maybe you're in.

Turns out Case won't let me study there.  C'est La Vie.  :)

Oh man I'm sorry to hear that.  Hofstra will be a good place to study law though. Good luck up there.

Thanks a lot.  I'll make the best of it.  And P.U.S.H., I hope you're wrong. ;)

Meh, who wants to be in Cleveland anyway!  [No offense to anyone from Cleveland.]

You make a strong point!  You should consider going to law school.

Specifically UVA.

This is getting pretty racey.

You have no idea.

I wish you the best of luck.  ;)

You?

I'm not going to Hofstra.

Tell me what school you are going to, then ask me how much I'm going to borrow again so I can respond with, "I'm not going to [wherever you're going]."

How much are you borrowing?

I haven't made the final decision yet.  I'm thinking about just taking the full Stafford.  It covers most of, if not all, my tuition when coupled with the annual $15k scholarship.  I have saved up about a full year's tuition working for the past year and a half, and I'm considering using that for this year's living expenses so I won't have to take additional, potentially unnecessary, loans.  If I don't make any money next summer, or if I don't have enough left over to come close to covering the second year's living expenses, I will turn to extra loans, probably private.

You?
