60? oh my...it's time to break out the thermal underwear. are you okay?
for a 60 in cleveland, we have to wait until april/may. winter is single digits with negative windchill, lake effect snow, and months of hibernation. man, i am going to miss that.
like, longjohns and everything. lol
just trying to lighten things up a bit. but really, after you spend a few months in fla you really can't handle cold weather anymore... you'll see. it's like anything under 50 is like the end of the world.

Jump-are you withdrawing from the waitlist then?
no, that was in regards to my LSN profile and my fordham "scholarship." i'm going to wait it out for colorado.

Seriously, I don't know what all this talk about the weather being great is all about. Seriously. I mean, I live in Florida, and it got down to like, 60 this winter

No idea, but if I were you I'd be all over that $1,000,000 scholarship to Fordham
Yeah, quite tempting, but I'm holding out for a better offer

Has anyone gotten waitlisted at Colorado recently? I'm looking at the response card right now and I'm wondering if the "No. 1" written in the top left corner has any significance. Is anyone's card different?
Maybe I'm just being overly hopeful.

I didn't get a chance to go to the ASD, but I visited the campus, got a tour, and sat in on two classes last Wednesday. I was very impressed. Here are some of my thoughts, and why I'm pretty sure I'm going to Miami this fall:
-The professors were engaging and thought-provoking. I sat in on two 1L classes, sub crim with Barnes and con law with Casebeer. Loved them both.
-While the campus is not the most beautiful I have seen (it's rather bland actually), the "Bricks" really does seem like a good area to rest between classes and socialize. By no means did it seem overcrowded anytime during the day.
-I don't know if anyone got the chance to go outside the law campus, but it's a stone's throw away from all the undergrad amenities.
-People looked generally happy to be there, and everyone was extremely helpful and nice. It really just felt right.
As far as the library goes, I must admit it is not impressive. I hear most law students walk to the undergrad library to study... I didn't get the chance to visit it, but I hear it's great.

I live in Orlando, and people don't even recognize Barry here. The only reason I could see people even consider it is if they couldn't get in anywhere else and looked to transfer after the first year. I have a friend who was top of her 1L class at Barry and now goes to Emory. Smart move.
I just drove to UF today and it's by no means far away. You can get there in less than 2 hours from Orlando.
