Just one??? I believe at one time it was the norm to hold that belief. Wasn't there a psychologist some time ago that claimed homosexuality is a mental illness and that he had found a way to cure it? i remember the guy really made it a point to say that gays were taking over the media to market their lifestyle in order to convince others of its normalcy, even though by his account, it was a psychologically deviant behavior.
anyone know who i'm talking about?

So by that reasoning heterosexuality is a mental illness, since they have a sexual preference that they cannot resist. A quality that is necessary for a given conclusion to be draw does not mean that that quality is sufficient for drawing that conclusion. Thanks for the practice for Monday (this is meant to be ernest not sarcastic) I'm looking below and I see M2 already got there

It's good to have goals i already have the distance paced off between the test hall and the nearest adult drinking etablishment. its only like 60 paces, but i think i can do it in 45.

I know I've been taking too many LSATs; but your argument that "it is a harmful lifestyle" is flawed in that it concludes that a group exhibiting some characteristics implys that being a member of that group necessitates having those characteristics. And you are neglecting the effect of society's "classing" of homosexuals into a different group than heterosexuals may bring about these characteristics. I feel neither (inordinate) depressed, nor do I abuse drugs, nor am I diseased, nor do I have more sexual partners than the average 24 yr old. My disagreement with legalizing gay marriage wasn't meant to seem mean spirited, but just take some time on the CDC web site to explore the disease problems faced by homosexuals. HIV,gonorreah,Hepatitis,bowel disease. Not that these are isolated to homosexuals, but look at the emphasis CDC puts on homosexuals in relation to all these diseases. Not to mention higher than average drug abuse, many more sexual partners on average than hetero, depression. It is a harmful lifestyle, and homosexual relationships just aren't statistically healthy. Oh and btw, the APA removed pedophilia from the list of mental illnesses as well. Hmm, sex with an 8 year old? Nah, that's completely well adjusted, right?

OMG that History of Science female dog (pardon the harsh language) I just didn't get what her deal was. I totally screw that whole passage up. I tried, but honestly, it's just confused the hell out of me why someone's brain would think that way.

It was pretty bad, but I got a little prep from this board yesterday so when I got t it I was like "OK, pay attention and go slow" so I kicked it's ass. Thanks guys, too bad you won't be prepping me for monday

Shhhh... don't say that to loud the schools may hear you I heard a good point made about the writing sample. Since LSAC is doing a field test in July on a SCORED writing section (ooh that would be so great for my score),
it might not be such a bad idea to reconsider the view that "no one pays attention to it.
