Yea!!!  Your first acceptance!  You're going to law school!  You're going to law school!

Doesn't that feel good?

Thanks Boss!  It really does feel good to know that I am going to law school.  I have been giddy like a kid on her birthday since I found out.

I am so excited.  I was really late getting my apps in.  I submitted them Feb. 15 and LSDAS reports have been flowing out ever since (actually still waiting for one to be processed and for one to be requested).  In the mail the last week or so have been small envelops telling me they had received my application or reminding me to fill out my FAFSA.  Well today there was another small envelope it was an acceptance letter from University of Tulsa.  I am so happy because I know that I am going to law school in the fall.  I would be very happy to attend TU, but I am curious to see the results from the other schools I applied to.  Sorry to write a book I am just so excited.

I think Louisville will bounce back. Their free fall can probably be directly linked to their search for a new dean, which they now have (from UMN). They had an interim dean for a few years. Their numbers never changed, just judge/peer rank.

Really the two schools aren't that far apart in the rankings. Kind of by default, U of L has to bounce back eventually b/c it is a state school and many people apply there b/c it's less expensive.

But yeah, you do look at those rankings and want to go to the higher seed. Damn numbers. Anyone ever been to SLU for a visit?

I have been to SLU for their open house a few months back, plus I took prep course there.  Its pretty nice.  All in one building.  On the outside of the campus but still part of the campus.  I think the biggest draw back would be parking.  There are parking garages but they are pretty far away from the law building.  There is on meter parking, but it is a pain to get.  Any more specific questions you have I can try and answer for you.   :)

Do any of the T3/T4 schools have status checkers?
