I'm headed to University of Tulsa.  It a wonderful school and town.  The faculty and staff are so friendly.  I'm moving in 3 wks and I can't wait.

awesome man!! Do you know where you are living yet??? My roomate is living in the student apts one called USA or something, he is syked!! I bet you are too!!

I rented a house about 3 blocks from campus.  I really am excited.  When is your roomie moving down?  I hope to move by the end of July, hopefully before but who knows.

He will be moving as soon as they let him. He hopes early August b/c that is when he has to leave this apt complex and I will be moving into another apt too, if he can't move in Aug 2nd or 3rd then he will probibly have to stay with me. He is so psycked!! He has already started organizing his things and packed stuff into boxes. I plan to help him move too, it would be a great road trip for him, I and a few of our friends!! I'v never been to Oklahoma!! Is it a far move for you too??

Sounds like a great road trip for you guys!  Its about a 7 hr drive, so a bit of a move.  I still need to start packing.

Minority and Non-Traditional Law Students / Health Insurance
« on: May 18, 2007, 02:16:15 PM »
What is everyone doing in regards to health insurance?  Do most schools offer health insurance?  Is so is it just for students or are spouses and dependants eligible?  Sorry if this has been asked before but the only search feature is a pain in the a** to use.
TIA
 :)

Financial Aid / Re: GRAD PLUS Questions and Answers 2007
« on: May 18, 2007, 12:55:12 PM »
Just wanted to share.  I applied for my GradPLUS loan through my schools preferred lender and was denied.  So I applied through another lender and was approved.  So you may have to try a different lender.

Cube,

I will be at Tulsa this fall.  I have visited, so if you have any questions let me know.  As far as getting back to Denver, when I was at the admitted students day I spoke with a current student who was going to be working in Denver over the summer.  I believe that he was from Denver.

Good luck with your decision.

Ray - Visted Tulsa on their ASD.  Very nice people.  I'm strongly considering.  Put my deposit down, so we shall see.  Let me know if you have any questions about the school, I can try and help.

Anyone going to Tulsa's Admitted Students thing this weekend?
Melissa is that a pit bull in your avatar? They have such cute faces, but I would be afraid I would not think its was as cute when it had a death grip on my arm. :(

Yea thats my baby.  His name is Max and the sweetest dog a person could ever ask for.  That being said I feel sorry for any person stupid enough to try and break into my house.  He is great with people but if you don't let you inside, he's not going to let you inside.  ;D
