Or can you apply to both and as long as you don't check Early Decision, you're fine?

Law School Admissions / Michigan: Apply to both Summer AND Fall?

On the Michigan application it has the option to apply to the:

Binding Summer
or both.

My question is -- if you apply to both and get in summer, are you stuck?

Yeah, with your #s I'd say you have a VERY solid chance even without residency.

That is a good point. In these forums where seemingly everyone got over a 170, it is very easy to get an inferiority complex. We need to take a reality check sometimes.

OMG I was at the mall on my lunch break and I saw one of those "Come work for us over the Hollidays" posters at a store I shop at and actually considered filling out an application! (I already work a 9-5) I feel like I need something to occupy myself! Am I crazy??

First to rtqw - George Mason is free when you apply online.

As for me, I am applying to 21.

There's a lot of talk about not applying to more than 7, but this is what I say.

1) I want to get into the best law school I can. A lot of the 8-14 law schools have me between a 40-50% chance based on numbers.

2) Money Money Money. Always want to be able to compare different schools and scholarships.

3) 9 of my 21 schools are waived.

4) A wee bit of insecurity.

Are we all from TX or planning on going to mainly TX schools if possible here?

I am applying to 3 TX schools (Baylor, SMU & UTexas), but I am applying tons of other places too. Given the steep discount for attending UTexas (and that I grew up in Austin), I would imagine if I get in, there will be a VERY good chance I will attend there.

I'm not done yet (plan to finish this weekend) but has anyone else found that actually applying is unsettlingly anti-climactic? The easyness makes me feel like I should have done more.

I got a Washington U. fee waiver and packet in snail mail a few days back.

Sounds realistic. Write a great Personal Statement that incorporates your work experience and adds to them, since you feel this is your best asset.
