I don't think Jem was trying to be cold.. or a "female dog"... rather she was asking considering the curve.. what happened to get one to the point of flunking out? genuine questions without feeling or emotion being incorporated...I was really stressed through out the year and I hated my school. I was at a top 20 so I know I'm really screwed and the administration won't let me try to make up the classes or anything. I can't tell my parents yet.
